SolarTrainer Junior
The experiment system is suitable for lessons in school (secondary and comprehensive schools, grammar schools, vocational schools) and for demonstration purposes and for the training of employees in companies. The scope of the experiment materials makes it possible to carry out all fundamental tests on the subject of photovoltaics.
- Clearly laid-out storage of the materials in a special case, always fully to hand, no additional material necessary
- High-quality modules
- Fast setting-up and dismantling of the experiments
- Modularly set-up experiments, can be included in lessons as required
- Easy-to-understand experiment instructions and solutions with background information for teachers
- Expansion package for recording of measured values and analysis with PC available as accessories, can be kept in the case
Experiments
The following experiments are possible with the scope of supply:
- Measurement of the irradiation intensity of different light sources
- The solar cell as energy converter
- The solar cell as energy converter/as diode
- The open circuit voltage of a solar cell/shading (load Example Experiment as PDF file)
- The short circuit current of a solar cell/shading
- The open circuit voltage and short circuit current with varying irradiation intensity
- The short circuit current of a solar cell with varying angles of incidence of the light
- Series connection of solar cells/shading
- Parallel connection of solar cells/shading
- Voltage-current characteristic line of a solar cell
- Calculation of efficiency/MPP
- Simulation of the course of a day
- Charging of a GoldCap capacitor/accumulator with a solar cell
- Discharging of a GoldCap capacitor/accumulator
- Setting-up of an isolated network
When equipped with Expansion Package:
- PC measured value recording: voltage-current characteristic line of a solar cell
- PC measured value recording: conversion of direct current into alternating current
- PC measured value recording: charging/discharging of a GoldCap capacitor/accumulator
